Warm is not the same as broken

A refrigerator a few degrees over its setting is not necessarily short of cooling. Something may be letting room air in, or keeping cold air from getting round. Following the air

With the door sealing and no mode set, we log the compartment against the 38°F preset, then look at the condenser behind the kickplate and at the refrigerator evaporator fan. A clean condenser and a turning fan in a warm cabinet send us to the controls, and after them the sealed system.
